If you are tested negative, it shows that you were not infected when your sample was collected. But, it does not mean you cannot get affected by the virus so it is important to follow the precautions as it might not show in the initial stage of the illness.
Antibody Test- An antibody test is done to see if you were previously affected by the virus and if your body has developed antibodies to protect you from it. Your body takes at least 10-12 days to develop the antibodies after your exposure to the disease.
